News flash

We are moving (but not to Brazil, yet). Most unexpectedly God has opened the door for us to move to Georgia. In just one day, God provided a job for Jeff and a few potential housing options for us. This will mean that Jeff and I can finally switch roles, and I will be able to stay home with Dani! I am so excited about being a full-time wife/mom. The thought of laundry, cleaning, shopping and cooking thrills me. We are looking forward to being able to spend some quality time with Jeff’s family and our many friends living in the area. We are planning to move around the middle of July.
In the midst of planning what to take to Brazil and what to leave behind and what we need to buy before leaving and what to store and what to get rid of and what will we really need anyway... I read in the Message these words of Jesus as he sent out the Twelve, “Don’t load yourselves up with equipment. Keep it simple; you are the equipment.” This refreshing reminder shifted my focus from the task to the purpose. We will still perform the task, but I trust we can keep the purpose in focus through it all.
On this note, thank you to each one who is sending prayers and money our way. We will face a number of intimidating “setup” expenses like airfare, buying a car, paying to transport our household wares, & setting up house in Brazil. Watching our PAZ account grow now, before we are even “on the mission field,” encourages me daily. God is so good and right now He is blessing us through YOU! Thank You!
